Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her husband Pete Wentz  have welcomed their new baby boy intothe world.  The healthy baby was born on Thursday November 20, 2007 and weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces.  The baby was named Bronx Mowgli Wentz.  Mowgli is the name of the boy in Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book stories that were later made into a Disney movie.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz wed on May 17, 2008 amid a flurry of baby rumors.  The baby buzz was denied by Wentz, Simpson-Wentz, their families, and their publicists, but the reports had persisted. 

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz, bassist for the rock band Fall Out Boys, were first linked in late 2006.  They announced their engagement on April 9,2008.  The Simpson-Wentz engagement was surrounded by baby speculation and the speed of their wedding only served to encourage the gossip mill before the official baby announcement.

Congratulations to Ashlee Simpson-Wentz on the birth of her healthy baby boy.
